Funds Available for Programs Offering Housing for Homeless Persons
Ventura, CA –The Ventura County Continuum of Care is soliciting applications for programs that offer new or expanded permanent supportive housing for persons who are chronically homeless. Up to $180,000 is available from re-allocated funds and $205,510 is available as part of the permanent supportive bonus. Applications will be competitively ranked and scored by a Continuum of Care committee. The CoC Board will make final funding decisions at their meeting on September 13, 2017.
The Ventura County Executive Office on behalf of the VC CoC has released the request for proposals (RFP) for the FY17 Continuum of Care funding competition. HUD announced the FY17 Continuum of Care Notice of Funding Availability on July 14, 2017.
A workshop for new and renewal applicants will be held on August 10th from 9am-11:30am at 800 S. Victoria Ave. Hall of Administration, Training Room HR231.
All new and renewal applications are due on Friday August 25, 2017.
