Goldberg Enters Supervisor Race

A lifelong resident of Ventura County, Goldberg attended Channel Islands High School and San Diego State University where he studied business and political science. Last year, Goldberg participated in Ventura County Leadership Academy, which he credits for the motivation to seek public office.

Goldberg is the latest candidate of seven seeking to replace retiring Supervisor Kathy Long. He submitted nomination papers to the Ventura County Elections Department on March 10 to become qualified for the June 7 ballot.

Goldberg is an independent candidate running a grassroots campaign. His platform focuses on instituting a healthy cafeteria initiative to combat childhood obesity, improving mass transit across the county, and preserve local dog parks.

    YEP! All the things that, if left up to his potential constituency, would likely vote NO on. OR, maybe not. If they are predominantly receiving SNAP or are democrats, they’d probably vote for him just to get these FREE things
