Golfing for the dogs – 11th Annual K9 Golf Tournament – a success!
This year’s K9 Golf Tournament was held at the Moorpark Country Club on August 31st. From all accounts it was a great success. The event raises money for the Ventura County Sheriff K9 Unit which is solely funded through activities like the Tournament and private donations. These funds go to purchasing the K9’s, training them and for equipment. It is a costly undertaking but it is well worth the effort. These wonderful animals protect and serve Ventura County.
If you couldn’t make it, or like me are practically lethal while attempting to play golf, you can still donate: Ventura County Sheriff’s K9 Unit
