On the show were an outstanding Camarillo High School senior. two young men Boys and Girls Club employees who carried the American flag at the world cup in Brazil, a respected, get-things-done civic leader, a Citizensjournal.us news report on illegal immigrant housing at Naval Base Ventura County and the proprietor of BG’s Cafe!

BG’s co-proprietor Veronica Rodriguez graciously provided the restaurant as the site of today’s show. We noted the good, plentiful, reasonably priced fare served in a friendly environment. BG’s has long been a meeting place for the civic-minded. Besides the guests today, we noted the presence of Oxnard Councilman and mayoral candidate Bryan MacDonald and his wife as well as writer and civic activist Ross Olney.
