Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County will host a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for its new Oxnard ReStore and office location Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 9 a.m. Join us for exclusive offers, refreshments, followed by tours of the new offices.

The Habitat ReStore, located at 1850 Eastman Avenue Oxnard, CA, is Habitat’s Discount Home Improvement Center. The Habitat ReStore accepts and sells surplus, salvaged, and new or slightly used home and building supplies, and sells them from 50 – 75% below retail store prices! In addition, most donations are tax-deductible. Whether you’re a contractor, business owner or homeowner, the Habitat ReStore has something for you!

Our exciting new location is even bigger than the last. This means that the ReStore can help Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County build a greater number of homes for low-income individuals and families in Ventura County.

After the Grand Opening, the Oxnard ReStore’s regular business hours will be Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Donations will continue to be accepted at both the Simi Valley and the Oxnard ReStore during our donation hours, and pickups also will be available by appointment.

Proceeds from the ReStore help support Habitat’s mission of bringing people together to build simple, decent houses in Ventura County, while providing an environmentally and socially responsible way to keep good, reusable materials out of landfills. For more information about the Habitat for Humanity ReStore or to schedule a pickup at either of the Ventura County ReStores, contact Wendy Monk, Oxnard ReStore manager, at (805-485-6065 ext. 106). Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County strengthens communities and fosters hope by bringing people together to build simple, decent houses in partnership with those in need. Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County has built 58 homes since its founding in 1983. Habitat houses are built with volunteer labor and sold to partner families, at no profit and with no interest charged. Partner families invest hundreds of hours of “sweat equity” into the construction of their homes and other Habitat homes. For more information, please visit www.habitatventura.org .
