The Dinesh D’Souza documentary which has a sub-title of “The Secret History of the Democratic Party” comes out to 1,200 theaters nationwide this weekend just before the start of the Democratic Convention in Philadelphia, PA on Monday.

D’Souza and co-director Bruce Schooley use re-enactments to show D’Souza’s legal battles—he was sent to jail for eight months for breaking campaign finance laws in 2014—something he claims was “politically motivated” by the “most powerful man in the world who was trying to teach me a lesson” for his release of “2016: Obama’s America”; and the administrations of Democratic Presidents Andrew Jackson, Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt and Lyndon Johnson in contrast to the administrations of Republican Presidents Abraham Lincoln and Ronald Reagan.

“Hillary’s America” makes the argument that the Democratic Party has a history of supporting slavery, segregation, lynching, and racism.  D’Souza attacks Hillary Clinton’s flawed character and ideology that was shaped by Saul Alinsky (she wrote her college senior thesis on him).  D’Souza claims that the presumptive Democratic nominee is “little more than a political gangster intent on controlling the nation’s wealth…far more dangerous and corrupt that Bill (Clinton) ever was.”

In his book by the same name, (http://www.regnery.com/books/hillarys-america/) (released this year by Regnery Publishing, D’Souza gives a warning:  “We are on the brink of losing our country forever.  After eight years of Obama, four years—or possibly eight years—of Hillary Clinton as president of the United States would so utterly transform America as to make it unrecognizable.”

“No more will America be  a land of opportunity.  Instead, it will be a land of rapacious crony capitalism, run solely for the benefit of friends of the Obamas and the Clintons and the Democratic Party.  It will, in fact, be the fulfillment of a dream the Democratic Party has had from the beginning…a dream of stealing America for the politically favored few.”

“Hillary’s America” a 107 minute documentary rated PG-13 ends with patriotic music and an exhortation by D’Souza who says that because of his conviction, “I can’t vote but you can.”
