Second in the series is Freebo and his Fabulous Friends, performing on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 8pm.   Freebo was Bonnie Raitt’s bass player for ten years.  After playing with Ringo, Dr. John, and Crosby, Stills & Nash, he pursued his own path as a songwriter and has become an award-winning tunesmith.  Accompanying Freebo is bassist Chad Watson who has played with Charlie Rich, Janis Ian, Freddy Fender, The Imperials and Little Feat.  On guitar is Fuzzbee Morse who has played with Bono, Peter Gabriel, Lou Reed, Frank Zappa, Aaron Neville, Jaco Pastorius, Richie Havens, Dave Grohl, Jean-Luc Ponty, Axl Rose, The Chambers Brothers, and Joan Baez.

    The Eclectic 2016 Music Series continues with instrumental world music group Incendio on May 7. General admission is $20 for adults and $15 for students and seniors and may be purchased at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts Box Office or by calling (805) 381-1246 or www.hillcrestarts.com.  Beer and wine will be available for purchase for people 21+ with a valid ID.
