Hillcrest Center For the Arts Presents Live Standup Comedy Virtually On The Hill

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Live Standup Comedy on the Hill returns Saturday, June 13, 2020 at the new time of 7:00 pm.  This month the series appears under the new HillcrestArts Online Live Series, until it’s safe to be back on the hill.    June’s lineup is brought to you from New York City and includes Eddie Clark, Cory Kahaney (pictured above) and Stephanie Blum.   Professional local comedian Jason Love produces this monthly show in collaboration with the Hillcrest Center for the Arts.  The show features a new lineup each month with some of New York City’s (and Hollywood’s) funniest headliners streaming live via Zoom and YouTube.    That glass of beer or wine is now only steps away and every Lazyboy is the best seat in the house.

Two of these comedians live in New York. The other (Stephanie) lived there her whole life until recently.  Stephanie Blum was Awarded New York’s Funniest Female. She’s appeared on HBO Comedy Arts Festival, Comics Unleashed and NickMom and has been featured in the New York Times.

Eddie Clark is a former Marine, former NY police officer and former NASCAR reporter.  He’s been seen on Law & Order, Showtime, Nick Jr. and over 50 TV commercials.

Cory Kahaney is a favorite on America’s Got Talent, Conan, Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Late Show With Craig Ferguson and The View.

Producer and host Jason Love has appeared on HBO, Comedy Central, America’s Got Talent, and over 20 national broadcasts.   He has performed overseas for the troops and on the seas for cruise lines, and was a finalist at the Cabo Comedy Festival.  Jason’s non-profit, Love & Laughter, brings free shows to cancer support communities and others in need. Currently Jason presents a free daily FaceBook Live show at 5:00pm.

Standup Comedy viewing price for the show is $12.00.  After payment, audience members will receive both a Zoom link and a YouTube Live link via email. Those who participate via the Zoom Link, will have their microphone open so as to provide some love and laughter for the comedians. Log in early at 6:55 pm for a pre-show chat with Jason Love.
