Homemade Corn Chowder

Ingredients:
1 c. Onion, diced
1 c. Celery, diced
1 c. Potato, diced
3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. flour
1 qt. milk
1 can creamed corn
1 c. frozen corn
Bacon, to taste (optional)
Directions:
Cook onion, celery, ad potato in water until tender. Melt butter in large pan and mix in flour. Cook a few minutes; gradually add milk stirring constantly. Sauce will be thick. Add vegetables with cooking water and creamed corn. If desired, add bacon or ham for flavor.
