House Resolution 660 is a joke; keeps chairs as House dictators

House Resolution 660 that could be voted on as early as Halloween (Thursday, Oct. 31) is not only a scary pretense of due process and fairness but is an utter joke that establishes House Intelligence Chair Adam Schiff and House Judicial Chair Jerry Nadler as House dictators over the Executive Branch as it continues its impeachment inquiry that denies due process and equal access by the President, his legal counsel, or even Republican Congressional members  to cross-examine and question witnesses.

The House Democrats have offered a “fig leaf” of transparency and due process but have not provided transparency nor due process in regards to questioning witnesses in closed hearings in the Capitol basement.  There is no such thing as retroactive due process for witnesses that have already testified.  Due process in this House Resolution is subject to the whims of any House Committee chair who can take back the procedures outlined if the Executive Branch does not cooperate with every subpoena and request made by a House Committee.  The term “Star Chamber” used by some to describe the process that Democrats are using refers to the justice or lack of justice of the Middle Ages in England.

House Resolution 660 does not authorize the launching of a House impeachment process—which has been an “illegitimate sham” investigation that has broken all precedents of prior House impeachment inquiries—but only continues the current inquiry with the only recourse being committee votes controlled by the Democrats.

The House of Representatives is requiring the President to surrender all constitutional rights to run the Executive Branch with the failure to do so; considered obstruction of justice and the grounds for his impeachment.

Whether the American public likes the President or not—it is quite evident that this is a partisan impeachment process where lawmakers believe they know best—the election results of 2016 can be reversed by legislators that hate the President and are so consumed with this “madness” that they do not even do their duties as elected representatives of the people.  Why not let the voters decide if he should remain President in 2020?  Or are you scared by the lack of any formidable Democratic opponent?

Democrats and the mainstream media that support them cannot even acknowledge one accomplishment of this President that has honored his campaign promises and placed America first.   These same Democrats and mainstream media hate America and the voters that placed the President into office.    Their America is becoming an atheistic socialist county that bows down to a globalist world that attacks Christians and conservatives.

Do Americans want the rules of Congress to change as the political game is played?  Do Americans want to surrender the Constitution?  Do Americans want to surrender the Bill of Rights?   Do Americans now believe you no longer have a right to face your accuser?   Do Americans now believe you no longer should have an opportunity for legal counsel?  Do Americans no longer want due process?

The President of the United States is not above the law nor is he below the law.  If this happens—all Americans will face the same scenario.  This is a scary America.    Is this scary to you?
