Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association Taxpayer Conference- Oct. 10- NOTE LOCATION CHANGE

HJTA

Event Announcement- Updated September 20- LOCATION CHANGE

California taxpayers are burdened with the nation’s highest gas taxes, income taxes, sales taxes and corporate taxes in the West. Our state’s high taxes and unreasonable regulations have driven jobs and productive citizens away. Now, the Sacramento politicians are working to abolish Proposition 13 protection for homeowners, as well as small businesses and rental property.
At the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association’s annual Taxpayer Conference, which will be held this year in Orange County, citizen taxpayer advocates will have the opportunity to be educated and equipped for the upcoming battles in support of taxpayer rights.
Speakers include some of California’s most eminent luminaries in law, business, local government and taxpayer advocacy.

Presentations will include:
– John Eastman, Claremont Institute
Keynote speech
– Jon Coupal, Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association
Update on HJTA’s fight to save Prop. 13
– Ken DeVore, National Federation of Independent Business
Saving California jobs by protecting Prop. 13 for small business owners
– Robert Ming, Association of California Cities – Orange County
How repealing Prop. 13 would harm local governments
– Dawn Wildman, California Tea Party Groups
Strategies for successful taxpayer activism
– And extra special surprise speakers!
