Hueneme Beach: New shower near small beach restroom

Editor’s note: There has been much public discontent over the shabby condition of the public restrooms on Hueneme Beach. The City has been working on improvements. Also read: Port Hueneme residents want to fix beach bathrooms

We have just installed an additional shower near the small restroom (see attached photograph). Our Facilities crew rebuilt a salvaged shower that was previously removed due to beach erosion.  This again was a team effort. Our Streets crew replaced an old broken water line and our Facilities crew rebuilt and installed the shower.
