VENTURA, California – District Attorney Erik Nasarenko announced today that on April 19, 2022, Quincy Lamar Brown (DOB 07/15/91), of Oxnard, was sentenced to 21 years 4 months in prison by Judge Gilbert Romero.
Brown pled guilty on March 21, 2022, to felony charges including human trafficking, domestic violence, criminal threats, and false imprisonment relating to four separate victims in Ventura County.
Brown was initially charged with domestic violence from an incident on December 23, 2020. However, further investigation by the District Attorney’s Office, the Ventura Police Department, and the Oxnard Police Department connected Brown to the victimization of several other women who had been sexually exploited or abused by Brown.
“Human trafficking is a serious crime that exploits women through violence and sexual abuse,” said District Attorney Erik Nasarenko. “I am grateful to our prosecution team and law enforcement partners for bringing this offender to justice.”
Brown’s conviction requires him to register for life as a sex offender.
