    “Illuminated” Opening Reception at the Blackboard Gallery

    Camarillo, Calif.— Experience the glow of bold and colorful neon art at Studio Channel Islands Art Center (SCIART)’s newest exhibition, Illuminated, featuring the work of contemporary light artists Linda Sue PriceLisa Schulte and David Isakson. The public is invited to the opening reception, Friday, Dec. 6, from 5 to 9 p.m., at SCIART’s Blackboard Gallery, 2222 E. Ventura Blvd., Camarillo. In addition to the opening reception, SCIART and the Camarillo Old Town Association will be celebrating Camarillo’s annual Winter Walk with 30 tons of snow, reindeer and sleigh, and a festive train ride for children. Musical guests, courtesy of Center Stage Players, will be performing songs from Disney’s Frozen films. Refreshments of hot chocolate and coffee will be served. The Illuminated exhibition will be on display through Dec. 14. Free admission and free parking.
