Daniel Louis Fuller (DOB 2/19/84), a transient from Ventura, was sentenced to six years in state prison for the death of Jeffrey Kibler also of Ventura, which occurred on September 11, 2018. On October 29,2020, Fuller pled guilty to of involuntary manslaughter by an unlawful act.  Â
On September 11, 2018, Fuller and Kibler were both inmates, housed in the same quad, at the Ventura County Jail. Fuller wanted Kibler to leave the quad. When Kibler refused to leave, Fuller punched Kibler one time in the face and dragged him to the main quad door. Kibler died several hours later due to a ruptured spleen. The case was investigated by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office.
