Jerry Brown’s Global Warming Revolution

cialis arial, buy sans-serif;”>Over the last month Governor Brown has made it clear that the battle against global warming will be his priority during his final years in office. He has traveled across the world meeting with officials like the Pope in Vatican City and citizens of Canada to tout one recurring message: that we must redesign our cities, healing our homes, our cars, our electrical generation, and our grids — driving prices through the roof for consumers — in order to deal with the “threat” of global warming. On July 8th, Senate Bill 350 from the California Legislature rolled out, mirroring much of the rhetoric Brown has been preaching all over the globe. SB 350 would mandate a 50% increase in energy-efficiency standards, a 50% reduction in gasoline, and a 50% increase in investment of renewable energy. Not only are these standards impossible to meet by the year 2030 but they enable a non-elected government agency, the California Air Resources Board, to implement the regulations.
