Juvenile Suspect arrested for Santa Paula Shooting

On September 4, 2019, Santa Paula Police Officers responded to a report of a shots fired incident in the 400 block of E. Harvard Blvd. While in route to the call, responding officers observed a vehicle leaving the area of the shooting at a high rate of speed. As officers attempted to stop the vehicle to investigate, the vehicle failed to yield which initiated a vehicle pursuit that ended in the City of Ventura. The driver of the suspect vehicle fled on foot and was not apprehended by officers that day.

Through an extensive investigation, the suspect was identified as a 16-year old male juvenile. Police detectives obtained multiple search warrants and the suspect was eventually apprehended at approximately 11:00 AM, Sunday September 15, 2019 in a hotel in the City of Camarillo.
