    League of Women Voters Announces Forum for the 25th Congressional District
    VENTURA, CALIFORNIA; October 19, 2018:  League of Women Voters of Ventura County (LWVVC), a nonpartisan political organization, announces new location for candidate forum with Congressional candidates Steve Knight and Katie Hill. 
    The forum will be held: Thursday, October 25 at 7:00 PM | Santa Susana High School – Performing Arts Center | 3570 Cochran Street | Simi Valley, CA  93063
    The change in location is due to the availability of the Santa Susana High Performing Arts Center which offers better seating and other features.  It seats approximately the same number as the earlier venue.
    • Campus gates open 5:00 PM.  School is in session on October 25.  No admission prior to 5:00 PM.
    • Performing Arts Center doors open approximately 6:15 PM.
    • Parking: Use main parking lot accessed from Sequoia Avenue.  Attendees are encouraged to carpool.
    • The forum is free and open to the public.
    • Over 250 seats will be available to the public on a first come basis. Prior to the doors opening, tickets for assigned seats will be distributed first to the people in line then those arriving later.
    • All tickets are for assigned seats – there is no open seating.
    • Each campaign has a limited number of additional seats to share with their supporters. 
    • The forum will be livestreamed – details will be available later on the League’s website
    • Cell phone video and non-flash photography is allowed.  Flash photography is not allowed.
    • The use of tripods or monopods will be limited due to space restrictions.  Please contact the League of Women Voters in advance to request permission via email to [email protected]
