Local: Oxnard Revival Center Reaches Out to Help in Africa and the Caribbean

Oxnard Revival Center, a local church in Ventura County continues to make an impact and help families and individuals in need. This time, its outreach extends beyond surrounding communities and across the world in other Nations and cultures.

In the month of July, ORC’s children’s Ministry Leaders,  Jeanette Dubon and Jacklyn Jimenez, went on a mission to Zambia Africa with Christian Brigades, and in October one of our worship leader, Jose Toledo had the opportunity to also go on a mission to the Caribbean.  During their trips, they had the opportunity to visit places such as Ndola, Zambia in Africa, as well as the Caribbean Islands.

Jeanette and Jacklyn had the distinct honor of having dinner with the First Lady of Zambia, and visit the Chiwala Boys Secondary School as well as Chiwala Technical High School. They met extraordinary young men who are in pursuit of enhancing their education. These trips enriched their lives, as well as, learn the culture issues, challenges, and surrounding villages.

While on his missions trip to the Caribbean, Jose, experienced a life changing and humbling event as he visited medical centers and was face-to-face with children battling diseases and devastating sicknesses.

Oxnard Revival Center’s slogan is “Blessed to be a Blessing”, and they are living that, one community at a time, one city at a time, one state at a time, one Country at a time, one human at a time.
