Local PODS® Moving & Storage has continued to give back to more than 100 organizations and charities throughout the Tri-Counties since opening its doors for business in 2005. In honor of their upcoming 15-year anniversary, they are doing something special. For every PODS container rented all year long, a donation will be given to help charities in each of the communities that PODS serves.
“This year will certainly outshine all the rest,” says Steve Yapp, owner of Local PODS Moving & Storage. “We are honored to be a part of this amazing community and look forward to have this extra push, over and above our logistics containers donations, by giving back to all of our communities. We so appreciate that over the past 15 years, communities have embraced PODS.”
In addition, each designated local charity will be featured on the local PODS Facebook page to its over 5,000 followers to help build community awareness.
As one of the most successful franchisees in North America, Local PODS Moving & Storage, under the leadership of Yapp and Jonas, has donated over $1.5 million in logistics, providing PODS containers, trucks, fuel and employees for dozens of Central Coast charities including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County, Casa Pacifica, FoodShare, The City Center, Ventura Education Partnership, the Ventura Neighborhood for Learning, Santa to the Sea, Storyfest, Artwalk, and Veterans Stand Down events.
