Oxnard Police Department
There was a lockdown at Hueneme High School located at 500 W. Bard Road at 10:31 am reference a student possibly in possession of a handgun Officers responded and contacted the student. School Resource Officers are on scene investigating and no handgun has been located. The lockdown has been lifted.
More information will be provided if warranted.
