Logix Federal Credit Union and Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce Join Together in Support Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley

Agoura, Calif. In support of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley’s (BGCGCV) “Rising Stronger Together” Campaign, Logix Federal Credit Union donated $5,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Conejo Valley this summer, with the help of the Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce. Logix hosted a fundraiser through its Community Stars Foundation in June to provide additional dollars; members participated in this fundraiser.

Logix has been a long-time supporter of the club, making contributions toward programming, like camps and day activities.

“Having this sponsorship of our Rising Stronger Together Campaign from Logix is important to the Boys and Girls Club,” Jennie Parkinson, Director of Donor Relations said. “Each of our donors helps make a difference in all of our kids’ lives. Each dollar goes toward ensuring we deliver the best opportunities for our staff and club members to excel and succeed. We are thankful for this monetary contribution from the credit union and the chamber.”

The chamber was quick to provide assistance.

“When Logix approached us about the idea of transitioning their sponsorship dollars designated for Principal for a Half Day towards a grant for the Boys and Girls Club, of course we said yes,” President/CEO, Danielle Borja said. “The Greater Conejo Valley Chamber is proud to support local nonprofits through our Foundation, especially organizations that are supporting our community with such vital services during this time.”

Logix staff looks forward to continuing to serve the Conejo Valley through new opportunities, as the pandemic has temporarily changed the landscape of sponsorships.

“We have reached out to local charities to ask them how we can provide assistance,” said John Roemer, EVP, Chief Strategy & Communications Officer for Logix. “In these unprecedented times, we are looking to provide assistance to the communities we serve. It’s important to our membership, and it’s important to us as an organization. Giving back is part of being a good corporate citizen, and that’s what we strive for – to help our members thrive, which includes supporting those communities in which they live and work.”
