LoJack system alerts Ventura Police: Pursuit ends in crash
cialis times;”>Just before 11:30am Friday, treat November 21st, store Ventura police officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the area of 800 block of south Victoria Ave. The Ventura County Sherriff’s Department received a notification from The LoJack Stolen Vehicle Recovery System of a stolen vehicle.
Officers responded to the area and located the stolen vehicle heading south on Victoria Ave. near the 101 freeway. Police attempted an enforcement stop. The driver of the stolen vehicle failed to yield to officers and fled westbound on Valentine Rd. The sedan was driven recklessly, speeding and failing to stop at several red traffic lights. The stolen car turned south on Eastman St. from Market St. where it collided with the west curb, rendering the vehicle inoperable. The occupants fled on foot into the industrial area.
Officers created a perimeter and canvassed the area in an attempt to locate the suspects but were unsuccessful. No one was injured as a result of this incident.
