Los Angeles, CA – September 2, 2021 – The Elder for Governor 2021 campaign is holding a press conference at the steps of the Liberty Bell in Bakersfield on Thursday, September 2, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. PDT.
The press conference will feature:
- Kern County District Attorney Cynthia Zimmer
- Carla Pearson, mother of murder victim paroled by Gavin Newsom’s parole board
- Candidate Larry Elder, nationally syndicated radio host and newspaper columnist, bestselling author, and award-winning documentary filmmaker. A native Californian, Elder has dedicated himself to saving his home state, and restoring opportunity and safety for his fellow Californians.
The press conference will focus on:
- The victims of Gavin Newsom, specifically those affected by California’s crime wave
- Gavin Newsom’s support for anti-victim, pro-criminal prosecutors
- Gavin Newsom’s support for anti-public safety legislation
