    Los Angeles, CA  The Los Angeles Women Police Officers and Associates (LAWPOA) is thrilled to announce the launch of its new website,, as part of our mission is to strengthen, unite and raise the profile of women in law enforcement.  

    “The refreshed website aligns well with our vision to advance the representation and experiences of women in law enforcement. The new website offers a clean, modern design, easy navigation with helpful tools and resources,” said LAPD Commander Ruby Flores, President of LAWPOA. 

    Created with keeping the user experience a top priority, the streamlined website includes features like:

    • Easy navigation– User-friendly interface and latest content allows the end-users to navigate through training and education.
    • Value proposition– The updated content clearly articulates our 100-year history and our goal to see a world where police reflect the diversity of the communities we serve.

    LAWPOA, established in 1925, is administered directly by law enforcement officials and is open to both women and men.
