Mainstream Media ignores Iowa President Trump rally

By Michael Hernandez

(Editor’s Note:   The following remarks were taken from President Donald J. Trump’s rally held Wednesday in Cedar Rapids, Iowa) which was broadcast by Right Side Broadcasting Network and carried on Breitbart TV.)

“We’ve created almost 4 trillion dollars of wealth.”

“After spending billions of dollars defending other people’s borders, we are finally going to defend our borders.”

Middle East:

“Our country has spent 6 trillion dollars in the Middle East.  We have lost thousands of young beautiful lives.  We started 16 years ago, it is far many time worse after spending all this money, all these lives.   I took over a difficult hand.  We’re going to get it fixed.  That is what you put me here (President) for.  We will get it fixed.”

North Korea:

“Otto Warmbier, went over as a healthy boy.  You see how he came back?”

Keeping Promises:

“I am keeping promises I made to the people of Iowa.  I’m not going to let voices in Washington keep you from change you voted for; or change you deserve.  I’m not beholden to any donors, any consultants, or special interests.”

“I’m not intimidated by dishonest media organizations who will say anything or do anything to get people to buy their failing papers or watch their screens. These entrenched forces are fighting only for themselves, for their survival, but I am fighting for you.”

America’s Dreams:

“Your dreams are my dreams.  Your future is what I am focused on.  I’m going to ‘Make America Great Again.’”

Accomplishments Achieved:

We have passed 38 laws.  Some are really big with regulations.”

“We are working toward massive tax cuts.  It would be the largest tax cut in the history of the United States of America.   Because right now, we are one of the highest taxed nations in the world.”

Special Elections:

“The Democrats thought they were going to win in Atlanta last night. They spent 30 million dollars on this kid who forgot to live in the (right) community.  If Karen Handel had lost, they would have blamed it on me and called it the  greatest defeat in the history of American politics.”

“Unemployment (in America) is at a 16 percent low..”

“We have great business minds (working  our economy) so the world doesn’t take advantage of us (like Gary Cohn of Goldman Sachs and American investor Wilbur Ross).  They love all people both rich and poor but I just don’t want poor people (in charge of the economy).”

“We have a historic increase in defense spending and a new office of accountability for veterans.”

“We have eliminated restrictions on energy.  We have great wealth in the form of energy.   We have ended the war on clean beautiful coal.  We are putting our miners back to work.  Last week, a brand new coal mine in Pennsylvania opened for the first time in decades.  We have 33,000 mining jobs added since my inauguration. We’re saving  the ethanol industry in the state of Iowa. We have approved Keystone and Dakota pipelines.  We will use American steel in building the pipeline.”

Protecting Families:

“We’re eliminating  job killing regulations on companies, workers and famers.  They are gone.  We’re ending federal intrusion on family farms and ranches.  We are working hard to get rid of the death tax so that you can pass on your farms to your children and grandchildren.  You should have a right to pass your farm to your children.”

“Last week I announced that we are cancelling the one-sided deal with the Castro administration in Cuba.  America will stand strong against communist oppression.”

Fair Trade:

“We’re fighting to achieve fair trade for factories and farmers.”

“We’re restoring America’s crumbling infrastructure.  We will rebuild America.  We will rebuild rural America..  We will follow two rules:

  • Buy America
  • Hire America

“We will get our people off welfare and back to work.”

“It is time for new immigration rules.  Those seeking (to come to America) must be able to support themselves financially and not use welfare for a period of at least five years.”

“We will build the wall and stop the drugs.    We are spending money in (its) design.  I am a builder and that is what I do the best.  The border has lots of sun.  So how about a solar  wall that creates energy and pays for itself.   This way Mexico will pay less money.  The higher the wall,  the more valuable it is.  This is my idea.  It will look beautiful.”

Law and Order:

“We will restore law and order to our country.  We are reversing the last administration soft (record) on crime.  I have signed new directives to protect our police officers and sheriff.  We will always stand with the incredible men and women of law enforcement.”

Immigrant Crime Victims:

“Our government has refused to enforce existing laws.  The media talks about separating families (of illegal immigrants) but the families they don’t talk about is the American families separated forever because we don’t protect our borders an uphold the immigration laws of the United States.  The deaths of these loved ones will not be in vain.  I will fulfill our sacred save and protect American lives.”

Supreme Court:

Justice (Neil) Gorsuch was a very big deal.  When I picked a Supreme Court judge I wanted not only intellect but youth.  Judge Gorsuch is a fantastic human being, a brilliant student and one of the great legal writers.  This is a 30-40 years appointment.  You influence this country.”

“We can’t continue to fund terrorism.  We can’t let these incredible rich nations of the Middle East fund radial Islamic terrorism or terrorism of any kind.  We can’t let it happen.”
