Martin Hernandez thanks community for their support of his candidacy for 3rd District Supervisor

“I have dedicated my life to public service.   I decided to run for Supervisor because I wanted to continue to serve the constituents of the Third District,” said Martin.  “There are things we have done really well at County Government, but there are things we can do better and I was hoping to address those issues.

Hernandez has dedicated his career to Public Service and has built long-term trusting alliances both, within County Government and in the field with Community, Government, and Union and Business leaders throughout the district. He is committed to making sure the people of Ventura County have a voice.

“Out on the trail I had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people and learn about the issues that are important to them, it has re-enforced my commitment to public service.” said Martin “This campaign has been about the residents of the Third District and I want to thank them, my supporters and volunteers who have stood with me over the last six months,” said Martin.

Background

Martin Hernandez received the endorsements of Supervisor John C. Zaragoza and Supervisor Kathy Long, as well as, other local elected officials throughout the Third District. Mayor Hernandez announced his candidacy on March 7, 2016.  He will be up for re-election for his position as Mayor of Santa Paula in November.
