MAY 5: City of Camarillo’s Planning Commission to Take Action on CEQA Guidelines & Thresholds of Significance

WHAT: City of Camarillo Planning Commission Hearing

    WHEN: Tuesday, May 5, 2020, 7:30 p.m.

WHERE: City of Camarillo City Council Chambers, 601 Carmen Drive, Camarillo 93010

The City of Camarillo is proposing an update to the City’s California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) guidelines, which were adopted in 2000. The guidelines are used by City staff and the public to guide the environmental review process, as well as assist consultants in applying consistent methodologies and thresholds of significance to evaluate project impacts. The updated guidelines also include noticing procedures for public review of environmental documents, consistent with the noticing requirements in Camarillo Municipal Code (CMC) 19.84, the CEQA and CEQA Guidelines.

At the March 5th meeting, the Planning Commission may recommend modifications or other adjustments deemed to be appropriate.
The project history, Guidelines, Public Hearing Notice, and all other project information can be found on the CEQA Guidelines Update Webpage.
