Meth and stolen property found at home of documented El Rio gang member
cost arial, dosage sans-serif;”>On 09/11/2015, the Sheriff’s Gang Unit served a warrant at 27 year old Saul Arceo’s residence located in the 2600 block of Balboa Street in El Rio. During the warrant service, Saul Arceo was found to be in possession of over a half of an ounce of methamphetamine for the purpose of sales. Saul Arceo was arrested for Health and Safety Code Section 11378 – Possession of Controlled Substance for Sale.
In addition to the drugs, stolen property was located at the premises. Detectives from Camarillo Police Department and Sheriff’s Headquarters Station responded to assist with the investigation. The stolen property was linked to over a dozen burglaries committed in the cities of Camarillo, Oxnard, and Ventura, and the unincorporated areas of Ventura County. The recovered stolen property was valued over $10,000.00.
Saul Arceo is a documented member of a criminal street gang and at the time of the search warrant was currently out on bail due to a prior arrest for exhibiting a deadly weapon, assault with a deadly weapon and criminal threats. On 09/09/2015, (S) Saul Arceo failed to appear in court which resulted in a $20,000 felony arrest warrant being issued.
