Meth bust in Simi Valley

On October 1, 2015, members of the Simi Valley Police Department’s Special Operations Unit completed a month long investigation into the sales of methamphetamine in the City Of Simi Valley. Narcotics Detectives had received information of a subject who was selling methamphetamine to residents in Simi Valley. While conducting surveillance of the subject, they saw him driving back into Simi Valley after picking up methamphetamine in the San Fernando Valley.

Members of the Department’s Special Enforcement Section stopped the suspect in the 5000 Block of Barnard where he was arrested. At the time of the arrest, he had 1/2 OZ. of methamphetamine in his possession that he planned to sell in Simi Valley.

The suspect, Kenneth Ball, 44 yrs old, from Simi Valley was arrested for Possession for Sale and Transportation of a Controlled Substance. He was booked at the Ventura County Jail and is being held in lieu of $115,000 bail.
