Metrolink to DTLA for only $10 Roundtrip to Avoid Traffic and Parking Woes from Women’s March Crowds

LOS ANGELES – Whether you are attending the Women’s March or one of the many other events Downtown, skip traffic and parking and save money while reducing congestion and emissions in the region by leaving your car at home and taking Metrolink instead.
Metrolink is adding service to its weekend train schedule on Saturday, January 18, in anticipation of the Women’s March, which has brought over half a million people to Downtown Los Angeles in past years. All regularly-scheduled Metrolink trains will be operating, in addition to special roundtrips on the Antelope Valley, San Bernardino and Ventura County lines.
Metrolink riders can transfer at Union Station to the Metro Red or Purple Line and exit at the Pershing Square Station. The Women’s March LA event begins at 10 a.m.
Metrolink’s $10 Weekend Day Pass is good for unlimited rides on the Metrolink system and includes free transfers to the Metro Rail System. The $10 Weekend Day Pass can be purchased on Metrolink’s mobile app or at train station ticket vending machines on the day of travel. Metrolink’s app is available for free download on the App Store of Google Play. For more information on the mobile app, please visit metrolinktrains.com/mobileapp.
