Mexico Eases Migrant’s Passage | I Have to Ask the Question Why?

This was the huge headline in the Wall Street Journal January 23, 2019. An article by Juan Montes confronts the reader with the news that Mexico under the leftist administration of President Lopez Obrador “is facilitating the entry of migrants in Mexico.”
A new caravan of o Central American migrants are bunched at the southern border of Mexico, where they are given “humanitarian visas” to cross through Mexico, as they are trying to reach the United States of America, in particular, California. They have been told to head for California because Texas, a border state 1,250 miles closer to their route, is not as welcoming as California.
Juan Montes writes, “that about 5,600 Central Americans
Are awaiting entry visas at Tecu’m Uma’n on the Guatemalan border with Mexico. Visas allow them to move through Mexico without deportation by the authorities. Another 1,500 migrants, who forced their way into Mexico, are heading north through Oaxaca unhindered by authorities.”
Four hundred migrants that left in a group from San Pedro Sula, Honduras, are looking to join a caravan assembling through social media contacts. Add to that the 3000
Hondurans stranded in Tijuana and arrive at a figure of 10,100 people trying to enter the USA this month.
I have a question for the Democratic Party: are the United States of America to accommodate all the peoples of South America who want to come here with open borders, social, medical and educational support? Or will we retain some power over the decision who is allowed into the country legally? This only January. What happens in the next two months?
My second question is rhetorical only. “Why do you think the new socialist government is so helpful and accommodating to the migrant movement? Why are the authorities so eager to expedite the movement of the caravans? As a socialist government supposedly embodied with progressive, humanistic ideals, Mexico should embrace these masses of the downtrodden in their own country as their cultures and languages harmonize and are much more conducive to integration than in the North? Why shove these people into the arms of the capitalist oppressor—as the USA is referred to in Communist and progressive literature?
Well, Mexico and many other socialist countries are so poverty and crime-ridden that they could not help anyone. And they certainly do not want to take on the burden. The truth is that socialism has never produced a happy, prosperous society. A few horrific examples are Venezuela, Cuba and Honduras.
However, besides the inability to help, there is the underlying wish of Lopez Obrador to bring America down in any way possible—a goal that all socialist/communists hold uppermost in their minds.
Flooding America with migrants is also the wish of Honduras’ left opposition party to discredit President Juan Orlando Hernandez, and seeding America with leftist migrants.
Shall we take a chance and keep the border open?
I am just asking rhetorically. A Yes, is absurd.
