VICTIM: Javier Humberto Martinez, 75-year-old Oxnard resident

On September 24, 2021, at about 8:50 A.M., Mr. Martinez was seen getting off a Gold Coast Transit bus at the Oxnard Transportation Center. Mr. Martinez walked away from the bus in an unknown direction. The detectives from the Oxnard Police Department’s Family Protection Unit is still actively looking for Mr. Martinez. Images of Mr. Martinez on the bus are included with this news release.
Anyone who has seen Mr. Martinez, or knows his possible whereabouts, is encouraged to contact the Oxnard Police Department at 805-385-7740.
The Oxnard Police Department is seeking the assistance of the public in locating an elderly missing adult, Mr. Javier Humberto Martinez. According to his family, Mr. Martinez went missing on Friday, September 24, 2021. Mr. Martinez was seen by a family member getting on a Gold Coast Transit bus in the area of Lantana Street and Gonzales Road in the city of Oxnard. Mr. Martinez is described as a Hispanic male, 75 years, 5’7”, 150 lbs, wearing a grey Dodger hat, unknown colored top, and blue jeans. Mr. Martinez walks with a four-pronged silver cane.
