VENTURA, California – District Attorney Gregory D. Totten announced today that Theodore Rath (DOB 11/22/83), of Moorpark, a Los Angeles Rams strength and conditioning coach, was arraigned on three counts of misdemeanor sexual battery. The charges allege that Rath touched an adult woman against her will on intimate parts of her body for the purpose of sexual arousal and gratification, on or about June 15, 2018, at a private residence in the city of Moorpark. Rath’s attorney entered pleas of not guilty on behalf of Rath.
A pre-trial conference is scheduled April 19, 2019, at 1:30 p.m. in courtroom 14 of the Ventura Superior Court, County of Ventura. He remains released on $5,000 bail. If convicted of all three counts, Rath faces a maximum possible sentence of 1 year 6 months in county jail and would be required to register as a sex offender.
