Motorsports broken into — Ventura

Ventura Police Department – Incident Press Release

On February 24th at 8:58 PM, the Ventura Police Command Center received an alarm call reference a window smash at Cal Coast Motorsports at 5455 Walker St.  Officers arrived on scene and located one of the south facing windows had been smashed.  Additional officers responded to the location accessing known escape routes from prior incidents.  As officers were approaching the location a male subject later identified as 19 year old Ventura resident, Hunter Fox was seen running from the area.  Fox was contacted and detained while officers continued their investigation.   A search of the area where Fox was initially seen prior to running revealed a 2018 Honda CRF 110 that was later confirmed to be stolen from Cal Coast Motorsports.

Officers reviewed the video surveillance cameras from inside Cal Coast Motorsports and were able to identify Fox as the suspect.  Fox was taken into custody and transported to the Ventura Police Department where Detectives continued the investigation.  Fox was later booked at Ventura County Jail for Burglary.
