    Narcotic Trafficking Suspect Arrested in Ventura

    Ventura County Sheriff – Incident Press Release

    On 08/28/2019, Detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s West County Narcotic Street Team concluded a month long investigation into the narcotic trafficking activities of Jesse Joaquin, who was suspected of selling methamphetamine and heroin to residents of Ventura County.

    At approximately 4:45 PM, Narcotic Detectives detained Joaquin in the 500 block of Mills Road in the city of Ventura, and executed a search warrant on his person and vehicle. During the search, approximately 65 grams of methamphetamine was located along with a scale, and paraphernalia associated to the sale of methamphetamine. Joaquin was booked at the Ventura County Main   Jail for possession methamphetamine for the purposes of sales. His bail was set at $250,000 and his next scheduled court appearance is set for 8/30/19 at 1:30 pm in Court Room 13.

    The West County Street Team is comprised of Narcotic Detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, the Oxnard Police Department, and the Port Hueneme Police Department.
