Santa Paula Police Department – Incident Press Release
On Sunday, June 14, 2020 at approximately 3:49am officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of 6th Street and Pleasant Street for a traffic violation. Officers made contact with the driver and sole occupant, Andrew Strader age 23 years of Santa Paula. During the investigation a search of vehicle was conducted. The search of the vehicle revealed 11.75 grams of methamphetamine, 14 Xanax pills that were not in prescription bottle, and a large amount of cash. Xanax is often abused since as a side effect it produces a euphoric feeling. Strader was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Ventura County Main Jail on the following charges:
11351 HS – possession of a controlled substance for sale
11379(a) HS – possession of a controlled substance for sale
