Robert Pech
On February 21, 2018, the West County Street Narcotics Team concluded a month long investigation into the narcotic activities of Robert Pech. With the assistance of patrol deputies from the Sheriff’s Headquarters Station, Investigators and deputies contacted Robert Pech, Joanna Reyes, and Anthony Duenas in the parking lot of the Victoria Motel. Robert Pech was taken into custody for several local outstanding felony and misdemeanor warrants. Pech was also found to be in possession of a loaded, stolen handgun, a large amount of methamphetamine, and several grams of heroin, along with paraphernalia indicative of narcotic sales. A search warrant was later executed at a storage locker in the city of Oxnard registered to Pech. Six additional guns were seized from the storage locker including a modified AR 15 assault rifle, 2 shotguns, a modified sawed off shotgun, two handguns, one of which was stolen, and several hundred rounds of ammunition. Additionally a ballistic vest and several hundred prescription pills were also seized
Joanna Reyes was arrested for possessing methamphetamine and narcotic paraphernalia. Anthony Duenas was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance. Reyes and Duenas were cited and released for their charges. Pech was booked into the Ventura County Sheriff’s Pre-Trial Detention Facility where he is awaiting arraignment on numerous narcotic and weapons charges. Pech’s bail was set at $500,000 and his next scheduled court appearance is 2/23/2018 at 1300 hrs.
The West County Street Narcotics Team is comprised of narcotic detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, the Oxnard Police Department, and the Port Hueneme Police Department.
