Newsom’s Abuse of Power Exposed!

By Stephen Frank,  California Political News and Views

Aaron Park in his “Right on Daily” blog, exposed the newest abuse of power by Guv Newsom.  Later today Newsom is going to basically close all government schools in California.  It does not affect his kids—they go to a very expensive PRIVATE school that is open five days a week for education.  “Gavin Newsom Bombshell – On the Eve of Shutting California Schools Down For Rest of 2020, The Exclusive School His Kids Attend Stays Open!”  See story here.  (expect some political organizations to use this to raise money—though they had nothing to do with the expose)

From the Sacramento Bee, “To start, the Lincoln Project, founded by well-known conservatives late last year, is tapping veteran California Republicans to fundraise and volunteer for campaigns in a handful of states against GOP incumbents who the committee considers Trump sympathizers.

Among the 12 Californians joining the cause to make phone calls, build the network and raise some cash are Rosario Marin, Treasurer under President George W. Bush, Cassandra Pye, a campaign consultant and former deputy chief of staff for Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jim Cunneen, a former state assemblyman, San Diego Councilman Mark Kersey and political consultant Luis Alvarado.”

Left out of this list is Mike Madrid, a founder of the Lincoln Project.  Oh, when you read the article you will find out they are not only out after Trump, but raising funds to DEFEAT several GOP Senators—they are acting as an affiliate of the Democrat Party.

Why is this important?  Madrid and Alvarado are delegates to the California Republican Party—and in violation of the by-laws working against Republican nominees.  Why hasn’t the CRP thrown them out?  You might want to ask CRP Board members why they tolerate a violation of the bylaws and allow people who openly oppose the Republican Party to continue to use titles that are undeserved.

Why won’t people register Republican in California because the Party tolerates those who hate the Trump and Republican office holders nationwide.  Either it is a Republican Party or a social group—take a stand.

  1. Money  and policy problems for California delegation to the Republican National Convention

a.       In 2016 the fee to be a delegate was $900.  In 2020 it is $1200—a 33% INCREASE.  Normally the fee goes to sightseeing events that are planned, special events, receptions, etc.  This year there will be NO sightseeing, few if any receptions and a reduced involvement in decisions.  Yet, the delegates are NOT going to get a refund. As far as I can tell the consultants are still getting paid handsomely.

b.      Guests and alternates have been told they will NOT be allowed in the convention—except for the Thursday night nomination acceptance speech by the President.  They will pay airfare, hotel bills, food costs, delegation fees, all to be in the arena for a couple of hours.  As far as I can tell they are not being offered a refund for the lack of activities that were promised as part of their fee.

c.       The two delegates selected to be members of the Platform Committee are being told to go to North Carolina for a couple of days to finalize the Platform.  Huh?  It has already been decided to renew the 2016 Platform.  That means the meeting could be done via ZOOM and save a lot of time, effort and money.

d.      Normally, the Executive who heads the delegation—this year it is Andy G., sends out a note to all delegates reminding them if they do not wish to attend the convention, they need to announce it now so their Alternates know they are now delegates.   Andy has sent out that letter—but a little different this year—apparently it only went to delegates 70 years old and older. Why has there been this sudden change?

e.  With no sightseeing to plan and oversee, few if any receptions, almost no meetings to plan, Andy is still getting his full pay.  Maybe this public information will get the Chair of the delegation to reconsider and determine a refund policy.  Is it fair to charge people for activities that will not happen?  This Sounds more like paying school districts NOT to educate children—the Newsom answer.  We should be better than that.

  •  We have given up our freedoms, movement, right to pray, education—but it is “just a mask”.  You MUST see this YouTube and what we have lost.  Then send it to your friends.  Better than any articles it expresses the fact that is four months we have moved from a Constitutional government to one that resembles China, Cuba and the Soviet Union—and Nazi Germany.

  • We need honest elections.  Sadly, California will not be allowed to hold an election without votes from the dead, the illegal aliens, those that moved out of the State years ago, etc.  Please sign this petition asking President Trump to use his office to assure honest election in November.  The Election Integrity Project CA is a strong supporter of the effort. to sign the petition – as an organization or as an individual.

The letter/petition can shared by email or social media.
