Nikki Haley Resigns from Trump Administration
Ambassador Nikki Haley tendered her registration to President Trump. She will be leaving the administration at the of the year. The President will be announcing her replacement within a few weeks. When asked if her leaving was prompted by personal reasons Haley answered when serving in government, “It’s important to need to understand when it’s time to step aside.”
Once a “Never Trumper” the former South Carolina government said she would not be running for president in 2020. She will be campaigning for “this one,” meaning the president.
The President will work with Ambassador Haley on her replacement.
HALEY: “No, I’m not running in 2020.”
She says she will campaign for TRUMP in 2020.
”It has been the honor of a lifetime” to be UN ambassador, she says.
