Oil drilling project near Oxnard approved
I am happy to report that the Ventura County Planning Commission voted 3 to 1 (with one abstention) to approve the conditional use permit filed by Renaissance Petroleum to continue their drilling operations in Ventura County. I must thank those of you who spoke at the meeting, and the many others wrote letters of support to the Planning Commission. There is no doubt that your efforts made a significant impact in the eventual outcome of the hearing.
