Oxnard Police Department – Incident Press Release
At about 5:30 p.m., officers responded to Panera Bread at The Collection regarding an aggravated robbery. Two teens were outside the restaurant when two men approached them. One suspect threatened the victims and took the victim’s jewelry before both suspects jumped into a Mercedes Benz and fled the area.
The victims were not injured.
The Mercedes was later spotted by police in The Collection parking lot and suspect Joseph Sandoval-Bibiano was found in the vehicle and identified as one of the assailants. He was arrested for robbery and criminal possession of a controlled substance. The other suspect remains at large and police are continuing to investigate the robbery.
