Oxnard Alano Club | Sock Drive for the Homeless

The Oxnard Alano Club is a door step sobriety check point for community members and the area homeless and veterans that find themselves behind the eightball.  We have been in service since 1971 helping anyone that wants to start their road to recovery.   We have assisted many with great success thru meetings and social activities. Both in English and Spanish.  Our New location is in the Pleasant Valley Plaza 4910 south C St. Oxnard Ca. 805-486-3356

Currently we are having a Sock drive for the next 2 weeks at which time we will be giving them out to the Homeless in Plaza Park and the surrounding areas.  We are not funded by the federal government or even the local municipalities.   Donations are greatly appreciated.   Checks may be made out to the OAC and can be tax deductible. I would like to thank you in advance for your assistance in this ever expanding problem that is nation wide so to combat we must start in our back yard.  We are planning to expand our services that we offer to our most unfortunate community members but as everyone knows this too takes manpower and money.  We ask for your continued support and graciously thank and bless you.  Roy Ribeiro Director of the Oxnard Alano Club.
