Oxnard Attempt to Declare Racism a “Public Health Crisis”

By George Miller

In its latest “virtue signaling” move, the Oxnard Council will consider a resolution to declare racism a “public health crisis” at the Tuesday June 30 Council meeting.

Applicable material is in item H-1 starting on page 8 in the agenda packet.

This wasn’t done before, but now it is apparently in response to the George Floyd killing-inspired protests, riots, lootings, burnings and attacks.

Never mind that the city and particularly the police dept, have already made herculean efforts and accomplished excellent results in this area. Not a word on that in the agenda materials. A true “crisis” would normally require drastic and costly action, yet that isn’t what they called for and they actually predict no financial impact.

Never mind that this country has created unprecedented peace, freedom and opportunity for its Citizens. Never mind that the vast majority of killings by police are justified, that very few of those are black, that they are hugely outnumbered by killings of whites and others and that the numbers have dropped by half in the last five years. Why were the protests and this resolution not also directed at the huge number of black on black, black on white killings and black abortions (also killings)? More black people are now aborted than born. What about the recent police killing of a white man who complained that he couldn’t breathe either? Nothing about that in Mainstream Media. You have to search it out on blogs, because it doesn’t fit the media narrative.  See any “white lives matter” protests/riots? These are rhetorical questions. Those questions are ignored because this is political and it is designed to divide us. If the Council was honest, it would address all of this. If only…..

Here are their documents from agenda item H-1:

Condemning Police Brutality and Declaring Racism a Public Health Crisis. (5/20/20)

This whole movement is backfiring

Why don’t we all grab whips and flagellate each other? That’s a better solution than these empty, guilt induced proclamations. Enough already, George Floyd was a criminal drug abuser. I am saddened in the manner he died. If you want to really help the Black community, help rid themselves of people who supply meth and fentynal. What’s that you say? Most of the stuff comes from China through Mexico? Oh, maybe we should build a wall>?>> Oh, that’s right mean old Trump has the same idea. Well well.

Not only is Black Lives Matter a Communist organization, it is working with Hamas (doing business as the CAIR – the Council on American Islamic Relations) to defund and replace police departments across the country.

Search ‘Understanding The Threat’ on the DuckDuckGo search engine, and click on the first link that appears for more background on the BLM-Hamas connection.

The country is being attacked by the communist in the cloak of the blm (black lives matter) movement. The blm is a terrorist organization supported by George Soros. They do not care about the black lives or provide minorities with any benefits. Their goal is to destroy the United States.
Those supporting the treasonous sedition have bought into the lies and propaganda they espouse.
Americans do not support the blm and will let you know how they feel at the next election.

So what does that mean now that the city council did this? What has changed?
