From the earlier story:
At 5:57am, viagra 60mg officers responded to the 3800 Block of Saviers Road regarding a stolen vehicle. Officers learned a mother had left a black 2003 Ford Mustang 2-door, 6PRN729, running while she went to get a co-worker from inside a nearby apartment. The mother’s four-year old daughter was left in the unlocked vehicle. Seconds later, the mother “heard tires squealing.” When she went outside, her daughter was about 150 yards down the street and walking back. The child had not been harmed. The Ford Mustang was gone.
Officers are looking for the stolen vehicle and a “young male” with a heavy build. The charges are stolen vehicle (10851 CVC) and kidnap (207 PC).
The mother was cited and released for child endangerment (273(a)(b) PC).
The Oxnard Police Department emphasizes children should never be left unattended in a motor vehicle. And, about 25% of vehicles stolen in Oxnard have keys left in them. Vehicles should be locked and all keys accounted for.
An investigation is continuing.
