“The Oxnard Chamber of Commerce is pleased to endorse Kelly Long for Ventura County Supervisor,” said Nancy Lindholm, the group’s president and CEO.  “Ms. Long’s priorities to be fiscally prudent, reduce county regulations, create quality jobs, and support for public safety are very much in line with the priorities of our organization.”
“Ventura County families have watched as our local economy has shrunk, and the good-paying jobs we need to keep our communities vibrant are leaving for more welcoming markets,” said Long.  “I am committed to focusing on tax and regulatory reforms that help small businesses grow so that they can create those critical jobs and improve our local quality of life.  I will make sure that we balance the county budget and that tax dollars are invested wisely to grow our economy rather than growing government.”
The Oxnard Chamber represents the interests of small businesses with government and works to promote a strong local economy, while helping local businesses grow and strengthen the community.  The group is extremely involved with local issues that affect the ability to create jobs and promote a high quality of life.
Kelly Long is the past president of the Pleasant Valley School Board.  She is a small businesswoman and mechanical engineer, and has six U.S. patents.  She is running for Board of Supervisors as a fiscal conservative focused on the best policies for our families and our communities.
