The Oxnard Downtown Lions Club was proud to collaborate with the Oxnard Young Professionals group to benefit the Boys & Girls Club Teen Center in Oxnard. The goal was to make this very difficult year a little brighter for the teams in our community.
The teen center offers tutoring programs, Nightly family style dinner, a new graphic production technology program top by credential teachers, and other programs to help our local teen ages 13 through 18 located near downtown Oxnard.
The teen center is in need of sporting equipment as they are the only gym open for local teams. The Oxnard young professional group along with the community and the Oxnard Downtown Lions club gifted the teen center $600 in a big five gift card, each team receives a treat bag full of goodies which included a five dollar gift card and sporting equipment for the teen center. Thank you to all that helped make this possible during a very difficult year.
