Oxnard Police Department – Incident Press Release
On July 20, 2019, at approximately 1:23 p.m., officers from the Oxnard Police Department and EMS personnel responded to a single vehicle collision which occurred on Victoria Avenue north of Gum Tree Street. When officers arrived, they discovered a motorcyclist in the roadway with fatal injuries.
Based on the initial investigation, it was determined that the motorcyclist had been traveling northbound on Victoria Avenue approaching Olivas Park Drive when he lost control of the motorcycle. The motorcycle struck the guardrail and the motorcyclist was ejected.
