Oxnard – Graffiti vandalism at Pacifica High and a Vehicle tampering arrest made on Pacific Ave.
Oxnard: March 10, mind 2014: Officers investigated a call of graffiti vandalism at Pacifica High School, 600 E. Gonzales Road. The graffiti vandalism committed at the school cost an estimated $5,000.00 to remove and clean. An investigation led to the arrests of two 15-year old males. Graffiti investigators also determined the juveniles were responsible for additional graffiti vandalism that occurred within the city that caused an estimated $11,000 in damage.

Officers also responded to 1600 Pacific Avenue regarding a possible stolen vehicle in the parking lot. Subjects were seen in and around the vehicle. They located the confirmed stolen vehicle and found Julio Carriedo, a 33-year old Oxnard resident, inside the vehicle. Carriedo was arrested without incident and charged with 10852 CVC (vehicle tampering). Carriedo is a Post Release Offender (PRO). The Post Release Offender Program releases non-violent, non-sexual, and non-serious criminals from State Prison pursuant to Assembly Bill 109. The investigation is continuing.
