An OXNARD LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICTS TOWN HALL was held at the Oxnard Performing Arts And Convention Center on April 7, 2017. The city of Oxnard, California is in the process of realigning its landscape maintenance districts. Following an audit of the districts by hired consultant Pablo Perez of NBS, it was discovered that they were grossly mismanaged because of the absence of staff solely dedicated to the management of this city function. The city committed itself to establishing a department under the leadership Special Districts Administrator Sandra Burkhart. Miss Burkhart will be provided with adequate staff to manage maintenance contracting, monitor maintenance performance and accounting of district funds to arrive at higher levels of landscape maintenance service in Oxnard.
